Gutterhead – The Fiendishly Filthy Drawing Game Review

4-16 Players | Age 17+ | 30-60 Minutes Playing Time

Gutterhead

As the darker, colder nights are settling in and the Christmas and New Year festivities are out of the way, why venture outdoors when you can stay at home in the warm? While staying warm and dry at home, what do you do for entertainment? Watch television? Read a book? Or invite some friends around, whip out a board game and have a laugh? We went for an adult board game. If you have a sense of humour that’s a bit more risqué or just outright filthy then you have to try Gutterhead – The Fiendishly Filthy Drawing Game. Gutterhead is a fun and adult only game that really will put your mind firmly into the gutter! But you will be glad you stayed in to play it!

Gutterhead is described as the naughty love child of Pictionary and Cards Against Humanity. It is suitable for 4-16 players and 17 years upwards (and we found that the more players you have, the better it is, and so much more fun!). Each game should take around 30-60 minutes (although there are no time limits so can last as long as you want).

Gutterhead is a game is for 2 to 4 teams (with up to four players per team) and they have to compete head-to-head; drawing pictures, performing mimes and guessing over 240 fiendishly filthy words and phrases such as ‘Teabagging’, ‘Wet Dream’, ‘Camel Toe’ plus other rude, crude and outlandish adult terms and phrases (definitely not suitable for the kids; they might embarrass you by knowing more of the terms!). As the game gets underway, you will quickly find out so much more about your friends and family, and that your quiet and innocent friends may not be so innocent after all!

The box contains: 240 fiendishly filthy playing cards (5 categories; Person/Place, Object, Action, Feeling/Sensation and Naughty or Nice), 4 poo shaped playing pieces in different colours, Dice, Gameboard, 4 double-sided whiteboards, 4 dry wipe pens and instructions.

The rules are straightforward. There is not too much to digest and reading the instructions only takes a minute or two. If you like a drop or two with your games, there are even optional drinking rules. It is extremely easy to play, but much harder to guess at some of the drawings, descriptions and mimes that your friends will come up with, but it is a whole heap of belly-aching, eye-watering fun.

So, if you want to spend some quality time with your friends and family and want to know what term “where making a deposit is a sticky business” relates to, then buy Gutterhead today. I really don’t think that you will be disappointed. You’ll certainly have a laugh (not suitable for people with a weak bladder, as they might just wet themselves while laughing too hard), and you will certainly see your friends in a new light.

It’s naughty, it may cause embarrassment and it really is incredible fun. We had a great time playing and would say that the more people playing the better it will be! This is definitely not one for the children, the humour-challenged or the prudish!

What better way is there to spend the cold and dark Winter evenings than with a board game, good friends, filthy fun and a whole lot of laughs.
