The Carfume luxury car air freshener is different from other air fresheners to put in the car, it is a small cork pyramid on top of a fragrance bottle and has a very unique and intriguing look. For review we received the Matte Black Premium Edition with the Creedy for Him scent.
The Carfume luxury car air fresheners are a cork pyramid that you screw a perfume bottom to the base making them reusable, refillable and much better for the environment. The perfume bottle comes in a range of colours so you can match it to the colour of car, your favourite colour or even your moods should you wish. Your chosen scent will last up to 4 weeks before you need to refill it.
As mentioned, we received the Creedy for Him scent which is a strong, masculine fragrance (much like an aftershave). Creedy is described as intricately blending vanilla, musk and ambergris with apple, blackcurrant and bergamot and notes of juniper, patchouli and jasmine. This comes in a small vial in the box and this is used to refill the bottle of the air freshener itself, this is very easy to by unscrewing the bottle from the cork pyramid and emptying the refill bottle into it. You then screw the bottle back on and tip the whole thing upside down for 3 or 4 seconds until you can see the cork tip getting damp (this releases the scent).
The smell isn’t overpowering, but quite pleasant and subtle. But if you wanted a different smell there are plenty to choose from (26 different options) on the Carfume website including Alien for Her, Savage for Him, Boss for Him, Choo for Her and many more, costing £7.99 for each refill bottle.
The air freshener has a carved wooden top made from cork, which looks like a pyramid, and the premium glass bottle is hand painted and available in several different colours. It looks quite elegant, hanging from rearview mirror with the supplied shoelace (you can purchase a car vent clip separately for £1.99).
This is a very good quality car air freshener and looks so much better and classier than hanging trees (and smells better too). It would make a perfect stocking filler or Secret Santa gift this year.
At £11.99 for the premium car air freshener with one refill scent it isn’t the cheapest of air fresheners, but they do have a premium smell and look so much more elegant. A perfect, practical gift for the car enthusiasts.
