Keeping things neat and tidy on your desk can be a bit of struggle, especially when your phone always seems to find its way under a mountain of papers or books and those elusive charging cables and wireless earbuds vanishing into the void of the desk. That’s where Stitch (the alien from Lilo & Stitch) comes in to try and tame some of the chaos. Well, not the actual animated alien from the Disney animations, but the phone and earbuds Holdems (officially licensed by Disney) from EXG Pro. There are 4 Stitch Holdems in the collection: Badness Level Stitch Holdem, Loved Up Stitch Holdem, Sunset Stitch Holdem and Underpants Hero Stitch Holdem.
We were sent the Badness Level and the Underpants Hero Stitch Holdems, both who landed on the desk on a hero mission to bring cuteness and functionality to the workspace.
The Cable Guys Lilo & Stitch: Stitch Mini Holdems are detailed figures that stand about 4” tall and are perfect for keeping your phone, wireless earbuds and other small gadgets organised. Placing your phone on Stitch’s outstretched arms (in portrait or landscape mode) not only gives you somewhere to put your phone so that it doesn’t get buried on your desk, but it also allows you to watch your favourite videos on your phone without having to constantly hold it.
Stitch, as most kids know, is a lovable blue genetically engineered, extra-terrestrial life-form that resembles a blue koala, but the Badness Level Stitch Holdem is very different. The Badness Level Stitch comes in a bold red and white style (has a hand-painted look) on a light blue base and has a mischievous demeanour. This Holdem weighs approx. 189g, a good weight to firmly sit on the desk and hold a phone (quite comfortably holds my Samsung Galaxy Note). With it’s outstretched arms, a phone, earbuds case or other small gadgets can comfortably sit on them, tidying up the desk and still making the phone usable and easy viewing.
The Underpants Hero Stitch Holdem is also approx. 4” tall and is a bit heavier at approx. 203g. Underpants Hero Stitch is in purple with blue and white spotted underpants on its head and a red flowing cape, standing on a light blue stand.
Overall, the Stitch Holdems not only look like cool desk accessories, they are extremely functional and an excellent addition to any workspace. The look great (my favourite of the two is Underpants Hero, I think it looks more fun). As cool as they look, they are heavy enough to stay put on the desk, and comfortably cradle a phone or earbuds without tipping over.
The Holdems are perfect for cradling a phone. My phone has a 6.4” screen and it comfortably sits in portrait and landscape modes in the arms of both Holdems without any fear of topping, making it easier to watch and use while keeping the desktop tidier. And I can still plug in in a charging cable.
The Stitch Holdems are perfect sidekicks in the battle against desktop clutter, and add a bit of fun and colour to your desk. Fun, functional and sturdy.
