Topple Off

Do you think that you have a steady hand? Are your listening and understanding skills up to scratch? Do you think you are the boss at following instructions? It doesn’t matter whether you answer yes or no to any or all of those questions because either way Topple Off from John Adams will put those skills to the test.

Topple Off is an addictive electronic, balancing, reaction game for solo play or multiplayers, aged 8+. A simple game to learn, but very difficult to master and beat.

In the box:

  • Topple Off Handle and Orb
  • 4x Base Plates
  • Instructions

Topple Off is a game that requires a steady hand, good listening skills and the ability to understand and follow given instructions.

You need to follow Topple Off’s voice commands to place the Topple Off handle and orb on the correct base plate. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? As the instructions get quicker, they start to get more confusing. Will you be able to keep up without making the orb topple?

  • 4 different games (2 solo, 2 multiplayer)
  • Play solo or with friends
  • Follow the voice commands
  • Addictive play, can you get the highest score?
  • Requires 3x AAA batteries (not included)

Topple Off can be played solo or with several players and the idea is to follow the voice instructions and place the Topple Off handle on to the correct base plate as instructed without the orb toppling off. It starts off nice and sedately, but as the game quickens up, the instructions get faster and more confusing, and it becomes harder to keep the orb on the handle. To play, you space the base plates about 25cm apart from each other (use the box to help space them) and place the Topple Off handle on the circular-shaped base plate to select the mode that you want to play in. When your game mode is selected, place the handle on the triangular-shaped base to start and follow the voice commands.

It has 4 different modes to play: Challenge Solo, Challenge Multi, Sequence Solo and Sequence Multi. And for those that don’t like lots of noise, there are 3 different volume levels.

Overall, we think Topple Off is a fantastic game. It really is a simple concept but really does pose a frantic challenge once the game starts to speed up. It is a fun game to challenge yourself or friends.

The game play is easy enough, but the game is very hard to beat, trying to keep up with the commands and moving the handle fast enough without causing the orb to fall is a frustrating but fun challenge – patience is definitely the key but trying to keep your calm while the voice commands and movements are getting faster all the time is an addictive task.

It requires 3x AA batteries (not supplied) to play but it does have a battery saving feature to prolong battery life, after a few minutes of inactivity the handle and orb will go into sleep mode.

Topple Off is a fun challenging game. It is perfect to play as a solo game and just as fun as a multiplayer game and trying to beat your friends and family. If you are looking for a fun Christmas gift for children and teenagers, Topple Off is fun and challenging and will be enjoyed by all and even makes a good family game.
